TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK

• As we gear up to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week from May 6th to May 10th, we're excited to share our plans to honor our incredible educators who go above and beyond for our children every day. Here's what we have in store:

Monday: We're kicking off the week with a fun game for teachers to win prizes.

Tuesday: Breakfast is on us! We'll be serving Santiago's burritos, fresh fruit, baked goods, coffee, tea, and OJ. We could use your help with setting up, serving, and cleaning up.

Wednesday: Lunchtime calls for Torchy's Tacos or Chipotle, along with refreshing drinks and sweets. Again, we'd appreciate your assistance in setting up, serving, and cleaning up.

Thursday: We're treating our teachers to a delicious lunch from Maggiano's, complete with drinks and sweets. Your help with setup, serving, and cleanup is invaluable.

Friday: Let's end the week on a high note with afternoon snacks featuring appetizers and pie.

• You can sign up for specific tasks and contributions using this here. Please ensure you read the requests carefully and stick to the items and times specified. If you're providing items that need to be returned (like bowls or plates), please label them accordingly and plan to pick them up at the front desk the day after you drop them off. Remember, each slot you sign up for or Amazon item you purchase counts as one volunteer hour.

EVENTS

• PIN Presentations - Join us for free monthly presentations by locally and nationally acclaimed experts aimed at enriching family life and empowering parents to be effective, proactive advocates for children of all ages. Click here for the 2023-2024 Presentation Calendar. 

VOLUNTEERING

• We have LOTS of volunteer opportunities! Consider volunteering to: 

1. Help out in the school garden! The Challenge Garden Committee is busy prepping for the next growing season. Volunteers are needed to help with spring and summer watering. 

2. Donate items or your time for Teacher Appreciation Week 

3. Make donations to the Teacher Appreciation Station 

4. Donate items for Mock Prom

5. Volunteer to help with Bingo on May 10 (sign up coming soon)

6. Help out during elementary or middle school field day!
