Fall Festival

Thank you for joining us at the 2024 Challenge Fall Festival! See you next year!

Are you ready for a fun-filled day of games, crafts, treats, seasonal decorations, & hands-on activities? Let’s come together as a community for a fantastic day of fall fun!

New this year: BUBBLE PARTY, fall science demonstration with MR. WILEY, VELCRO WALL and JUGGLING SHOW! If that’s not enough, PRINCIPAL STROHFUS is ready to make a splash from 12-1pm! Don’t miss your chance to DUNK our ‘top wolf.’

What is this “Fall Festival” thing I keep hearing about?

Fall Festival is an annual carnival style event at Challenge School. It is the largest community builder of the year! The entire family, friends and neighbors are welcome to come and celebrate being together and having fun. Fall Festival takes place on Saturday, October 5th from 12:00 - 4:00.

What can I expect to see at Fall Festival this year?

We will have a large inflatable slide, an all ages bounce house, a team A and B only bounce house, an inflatable obstacle course, a velcro wall, a dunking booth, spin art, an art project, 3 fun crafts, 8 carnival games with prizes, a maze, balloon twisting, face painting, the Discovery Den (a relaxed self directed playspace), the middle school only area upstairs with games and puzzles, concessions, a Fall science demonstration with Mr. Wiley, storytime, an exciting juggling show, multiple photo booths, a bubble party, and lots of friends to share it all with!

What is the theme this year?

This year we are paying homage to the lovely sunflower.

I’m volunteering. Do I need an entry wristband?

No! Unlike previous years we are not asking our volunteers to buy entry this year. Just buy entry wristbands for your family. When you check in at “volunteer check-in”, which will be at the South entrance, you will get a volunteer sticker that shows that you are supposed to be there. You are welcome to enjoy the festival before or after your volunteer shift. Thank you for volunteering!

Can I still volunteer?

We have a handful of slots left. Fall Festival Volunteer Signup Genius Grab one of them today!

How much does it cost?

Fall Festival entry wristbands are $12 each. Every paid entry also receives 2 free activity tickets.

What about activity tickets?

Each paid entry gets two activity tickets for free. Additional activity tickets are sold in advance online as well as at front entrance sales on the day of the festival. There will be two stations selling additional activity tickets for the duration of the festival so you never need to run out.

How do I know how many additional activity tickets to buy?

All of our carnival games, balloon twisting, and face painting are 1 ticket each. The velcro wall is 2 tickets. Food items are between 1 - 3 tickets each. All other activities are free with entry.

How do I get the wristbands and tickets I buy online?

You will get your wristbands and tickets one of two ways.

1. If you have a student at Challenge school your entry wristbands, any activity tickets you have purchased and a waiver will be sent home with your student. Please fill out your waiver at home and remember to bring it with you. Then you will put your wristbands on, hand in your waiver at the door and walk in and enjoy the festival. Be sure to pat yourself on the back for being prepared and beat the lines to your favorite activities.

2. If you do not have a student at Challenge school you will go to the area marked “Will Call.” Your wristbands and any activity tickets you bought will be under your name and ready to go. You can fill out the very simple waiver there and hand it in at the door. Thank you for coming!

I ordered wristbands and tickets kinda last minute and they didn’t come home with my student. Now what?

They will be at Will Call. We are excited that you are coming!

Are pets allowed?

No, they are the only family members that have to be left at home.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing a folding chair for yourself and sunscreen. Concessions are available for purchase.

Is Fall Festival really as much fun as it sounds?

Yes it is!
