Christina Suh:
Hello Challenge families! My name is Christina Suh and I am running for PTCO Volunteer Coordinator Co-chair. I've got an 8th grader and 6th grader who attend Challenge and am very grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff at our school. Professionally, I am a pediatrician by training and spent many years working at Children's Hospital Colorado but left patient care a few years ago to work at a digital health technology company. The volunteerism at Challenge is one of the things that makes our school unique and one of the many things that I love about our school. I would like to support this work in any way that I can and this is the reason that I would like to serve as Volunteer Coordinator. Additionally, I'm excited to help support the wonderful teachers by coordinating parent volunteers to deliver great programming to our kids. Please reach out if you have any questions that I can answer. Thank you!
Marina Milzer:
I am a former CDPHE epidemiologist, now a public health consultant focused on environmental health, and a guest teacher at two high schools and Challenge School. With a genuine interest in our school’s growth and community, I’m eager to serve as PTO Secretary to assist with various duties, represent students and parents, and support our teachers and administration in creating an enriching learning environment. As a mom with a background in public health, management, and environmental advocacy, along with my experience as a substitute teacher, I bring a well-rounded skill set to the PTO’s mission and firsthand insight into the experiences of both students and staff. I have served on the PTO board at my son’s previous elementary school, where I actively participated in fundraising, event planning, communication efforts, and promoting initiatives for a healthier school environment. My practical experience, combined with my professional skills, gives me a strong perspective on collaboration and support for our Challenge School community.
We are always in search of volunteers to join us! We are currently looking for shadows for several board positions and committee members for Wolf Run, Fall Festival, Staff Appreciation, Wolf Drive, and 8th Grade Continuation. There are opportunities at a variety of commitment levels. Please don't hesitate to reach out for more information!
